Many of my Root Ball Handle Canes are hand-crafted from hard maple tree saplings like this one that I have personally hand selected from my tree farm in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Their one-piece construction that was formed by nature has proven for hundreds of years to provide for a lightweight yet quite sturdy walking aid and has also caught the eye of many a collector.
These unique pieces are then hand sanded to a very smooth texture and are then topped off with a clear lacquer finish protecting the wood from the elements and adding to the eye appeal and charm of this unique wood grain. Each cane also comes with a non-skid rubber cane tip, specially designed for safety and long life. This cane is 38.5" in length ,weighs approx. 16 ozs. and can be cut to your specific needs. If you want this cane cut to a shorter length, you MUST send me a message at the time of purchase payment. Then I will custom cut your cane before shipment. The rubber tip is removable for those who would prefer to do this for themselves. Some of my canes do look similar in appearance, but I can assure you that
