    Description

    I am Very Pleased to Offer You a Rare Pair of 19th Century Bronze Signal Cannons. These Two Cannons Have Had a Long And Adventures Life No Doubt And Are Now Ready to Compliment a New Owners Collection.
    The Barrels Are of Tapering Multi-Stage Form With Raised Mouldings And Bell Form Muzzles With Plain Trunnions And Terminating in Knop-Shaped Cascabels. Supported on Steeped Wooden Carriages of Naval Type And Solid Wooden Trucks. The Touch Holes Appear to Have Been Blocked And at Some Point in Time Unblocked. The Bore is 1.5 cm And There Are No Apparent Marks To The Barrels.
    Signal Cannons of This Type Have a Long Maritime History And Are Highly Sought After by Collectors And Connoisseurs Today. And Being Able to Display a Pair is Almost Always More Desirable. Fortunately For The Next Owner of These Cannons The Condition is Extremely Good With No Issues Noted (Aside From Age Related Wear). A Wonderful Gift For a Collector of Militaria.
