    Description

    This is a beautiful Square Cake Plate by Crown Staffordshire in the pattern Hollyhock.  This cake plate was made of Fine Bone China in England.  It measures approximately 10 1/4 inches long by approximately 9 inches wide.  The pattern features a colorful Floral design with butterflies and a Gold Trim on a cream/yellow plate.  There are two sets of numbers on the bottom of the plate.  F12917 appears to be the pattern number.  742202 is the registration number for the pattern.  The pattern appears to have been registered in the late 1920's but the back stamp seems to indicate the plate was produced some time after 1930.  Plate is in great pre-owned condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs.  Gold trim shows very little signs of wear.  Light utensil marks are present.  Please see all photos for additional details, views and measurements.  Shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
