Blenko Giant Goblet Air Twist in Amethyst - Anderson Design 489 - 13" Tall

Description

Another rare find - Winslow Anderson design 489 in Amethyst.  Color and spiral twist in stem make this a true work of art.  Piece stand 13" tall.  As with most hand-blown glass (esp. the vintage pieces) there are several unburst bubbles on this piece.  A couple of very small ones on the goblet itself (see photo 6 for example) and several more pronounced ones on the foot (see photos 4 and 5).  I don't consider unburst bubbles to be defects; if you do, please don't bid on this item.  No noted damage; glass is clear.
